International Women’s Day:
Empowering Women in Technology at Swan
Every year, International Women’s Day gives us the opportunity to reflect, celebrate progress and recommit to building a more inclusive future. In the technology industry, where women are still underrepresented, this day carries even greater significance.
This year’s International Women’s Day, celebrated yesterday on 8 March, centred around the theme “Give to Gain”, a powerful reminder that when we support and uplift others, we create opportunities that benefit everyone.
At Swan Technology Solutions, this message strongly reflects how we believe growth and opportunity should be shared.
Our Philosophy: Give to Gain
At Swan, Give to Gain is one of our core values.
We believe that when we invest in people through mentorship, opportunities, and support everyone benefits. Stronger individuals build stronger teams. Stronger teams build stronger businesses. And stronger businesses build stronger communities.
That belief became action in 2023.
Cignus Tech: Turning Opportunity into Action
In October and November 2023, Swan launched Cignus Tech, a women’s empowerment and mentoring program designed to support aspiring female professionals looking to build careers in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Livia Viana Berto and Stephannie Estrada Zimic led the mentoring sessions, sharing their experience, guidance and insights from working in Salesforce. Their sessions focused on:
- Mentoring sessions with experienced consultants
- Career guidance in the Salesforce space
- Certification preparation support
- Real-world industry insights
From this program, two outstanding finalists received vouchers in February 2024 to complete their Salesforce certifications. Furthermore, both went on to secure their long-awaited first opportunities as Salesforce Consultants at Swan.

- Thayna Da Silva started on 26 May 2025
Watching their growth from mentoring sessions to certified consultants on our team has been one of the most rewarding outcomes of the program.

Celebrating Achievement: A Golden Moment
The impact of empowering women in technology extends beyond hiring.
We’re also incredibly proud of Livia, who received the prestigious Golden Hoodie at Salesforce World Tour 2024 a recognition awarded to individuals who make exceptional contributions to the Salesforce community.
Livia was also the driving force behind launching the mentoring initiative that inspired Cignus Tech, creating a space where Latina women could support and uplift one another. A true example of women supporting women in the tech industry.
Moments like this show what’s possible when talent is nurtured, opportunities are shared, and communities come together to support the next generation of professionals.
Celebrating Emerging Leaders: Women in Digital Awards
We’re also proud to celebrate the achievements of Taylah McCullough, who was recognised at the Women in Digital Awards 2024, an event dedicated to celebrating, connecting, and empowering women and non-binary individuals in the digital industry.
The Women in Digital Awards honoured Taylah with the Rising Star of the Year award for her outstanding contributions and innovation early in her career. Her recognition highlights the incredible potential of emerging leaders shaping the future of technology.
Why Women in Technology Matters

This initiative brings together women from all backgrounds to develop essential digital skills for the modern world. The mentoring sessions will provide confidence, practical tools, and real-world insights that participants can start applying immediately.
By fostering growth, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities, we continue to put the Give to Gain philosophy into action, helping women thrive while building a stronger, more inclusive technology community.
