The Challenge
VicReturn is the appointed Scheme Coordinator for Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic), working with the Victorian Government and partners to build and operate a large-scale container recycling network, a key step in transforming Victoria’s waste and recycling system. As such they required a centralised view of the stakeholders, including activities and visibility of audit data and stakeholder relationships while leveraging the salesforce platform to integrate and automate processes as the organisation develops so they could scale up as needs change.

The Solution
The solution was to enable the Salesforce Sales Cloud, integrating with their existing Snowflake data base.

  • Salesforce sales cloud
  • Snowflake data lake integration
  • Automation through Salesforce Flows

The Benefits

1. Centralized Stakeholder Engagement

  • All accounts and contacts are stored centrally, making activities related to these people and organizations easily accessible for the entire team. This results in more engaging conversations and greater visibility across the organization.

2. Seamless Integration

  • Site information collected by network operators and stored in Snowflake is seamlessly integrated into Salesforce. This ensures the VicReturn team has instant access to new site information.

3. Mobile Accessibility

  • This rich information is available on the go, allowing the team to view site details, conduct site audits, and engage with key contacts directly from their mobile phones. This feature greatly enhances the efficiency and convenience for deskless workers.
